- Born in Berkeley, California, raised in Pleasant Hill;
- Second of six children (M,M,M,M,F,F);
- Father of two children (son Michael, age 32, daughter Kimberly, age 20);
- Early Employment included auto mechanic, glass replacement (home and auto),
nursery sales, contract painting, most forms of construction, in-home sales,
business-to-business sales and multilevel marketing;
- Executive Vice President of the California Alcohol Fuel Producers
Association 1979-1980;
- Founder and Publisher of MLM News Magazine from 1981-1988;
- Business Broker -- 1991-present;
- Served on the Advisory Council for San Joaquin Salvation Army's Men's
Adult Rehabilitation Center 1992-1995;
- Was treasurer and trustee of Unity Church in Stockton, where he met and
married his wife, Arlinda;
- Successfully tutored adults who had never previously been able to
read from illiteracy to literacy;
- Enjoys skiing, coin collecting, travel and politics;
